I am currently leading the Machine Learning Engineering team within the Financial Business Services Strategic Business Unit at Capgemini America Inc., where my focus lies in employing state-of-the-art ML tools to improve and assess financial sector operations.
Prior to this, I received my Ph.D. in theoretical physics from the University of California, Riverside under  Michael Mulligan. My thesis research focused on aspects of quantum condensed matter, specifically quantum Hall systems, and then on ML optimization namely in gan optimization, multi-agent learning, and over-parameterized classical optimization models.
I did my undergrad in India, receiving my Bachelors and my Masters in Physics from St. Xavier's College, Kolkata (2012) and the University of Calcutta (2014). I subsequently spent some amazing time at TIFR (Hyderabad) from 2014-2015, working under the late Surajit Sengupta, on soft matter physics.
Here is my CV.
